Our Story

Founded in 1998, we are a family-owned business, with our headquarters located in Mukwonago, Wisconsin. With growing families, lifelong friends Mike Fatta and Mike Madey (President) made a bold move. They gambled everything to open Badger Color Concentrates, Inc around the values of family, quality, and custom service.

What started as two entrepreneurs, two used extruders, and a leap of faith, Badger Color Concentrates has grown into two facilities (Mukwonago, Wisconsin, and Kings Mountain, North Carolina). With over 180 diverse employees and a combination of extrusion, milling, and mixing machinery, we meet our customer's need for flexibility, responsiveness, and reliability concentrate and liquid color.

Our Facilities

Mukwonago, WI

Since 2002 our headquarters has been in the Village of Mukwonago, Wisconsin. It is here where our 60,000 square foot corporate facility houses a state-of-the-art laboratory, living light booth design room, and a variety of molding machines for color representations.
Our Mukwonago facility provides the sense of a hometown community while being less than one hour from downtown Milwaukee and about an hour from Madison, Wisconsin.
